About
Leap Of Faith

Founded by Iman AlShawab in March 2020.

Leap of Faith Jewellery are pieces unique, and artistic fine jewellery that serves a purpose and holds a story. The designs are inspired by nature, sacred geometry, and the number 369 will always be embedded in the design itself. Some of the designs are also interchangeable inspired by metamorphism and transformation while other designs will also have movement to be a fun piece of jewellery and discreet fidgeting. I use the finest gemstones in their natural form to emphasize the beauty of God’s creation untouched and unique forms that can’t be replicated. I believe that jewellery is something very special and sentimental, therefore, everything is handcrafted with love and care.

The journey of the world of gemstones was ignited when I was around 10 years old. I was fascinated by the diversity of the colors of the gemstones, the sparkle, and crystalline formation. As I grow, my love for gems and jewelry also grew with me with every visit to the jewellery shows locally and internationally. I expanded my knowledge by asking the exhibitors questions on diamonds grades and colors, and paid attention to the craftsmanship of the jewelry and over the years I trained my eyes to differentiate the grades and quality of colored gemstones and diamonds.

About Iman &
Her Journey

Leap of Faith was born after going through extreme hardships. With nothing but my Faith in God “Allah” had a bigger and better plan for me and from there everything was aligning smoothly and I was blessed with other supportive small businesses who told me I should start right away and shouldn’t worry about anything else. From that moment I realized that this is my purpose and Leap Of Faith became not only my brand name. It also tells my story and serves a purpose.

I dedicated my time into extensive research in Gemology because every day I was introduced to something new in the world of gemstone, minerals and crystals. Types I have never seen or heard of before, or came across an optical phenomena and growth habits that are very new to me. This was essential for my business growth. Searching for the finest and rarest gemstones and fine minerals from all over the world requires a bigger supply chain, and a lot of connection. Hence these international connections with people from the gems, fine minerals, and crystals community created second family who supported me all the way during my highs and lows. After establishing a solid international supply chain, I decided it’s time to join a jewellery making academy to learn how to create and craft my own jewellery pieces.

Being a neurodivergent woman can be hard in a neurotypical world but I found my bliss the minute I sat behind the jewellery bench. I learned to utilize my hyperfocus, which became my superpower, and always found a way to make things work. And inspired me to design and create pieces with movement as discreet fidgeting to be part of mental health awareness project.
